Haaaa.... This is life! If you have some free time, take a slow drive to the run-down but still operational railway station in Tanjong Pagar. Chill out and take your time over dinner as you catch the evening train chug into the sunset.
I'm talking about the canteen situated at the arrival platform for passengers coming in from Malaysia. Check out their fantastic Mee Soto; I highly recommend it.
Be sure to also get the Chapati, Goreng Keledek, Goreng Pisang and the Goreng Keladi, not forgetting to complement them with a warm glass of Teh Halia.
